(no subject)
so i realized the other day that i never posted about my new bike. kinda out of character for me not to document a new vehicle. it's a Triumph Speed Twin and the first bike i bought brand new. as sad as it was to trade in the V-Rod, it was time. i wanted something closer to a sportbike, to take my riding to the next level, but not too cookie-cutter sportbike looking. this thing certainly checks those boxes, since it's as fast, nimble, and lean-capable as a midrange sportbike, with more torque than most cruisers, and classic looks to complete the package. here are some crappy pics for my own future reference, since nobody lives in this deserted wasteland anymore except me.

and this was today, fully broken in and sporting a bunch of mods, some of which i just finished installing this morning
i think i'm done with mods for the time being, except maybe for a new seat, if i can find a decent one, and possibly a fly screen. thankfully this winter has been pretty mild, so i got to work on the bike and get stuff done that in the summer i probably would have forgone for the sake of riding the thing instead.
