Hard core cleaning day
Today Andy and I ran out to buy a new mop, and supplies. We had to do a top to bottom house cleaning for tomorrow. Our landlord is bringing someone over tomorrow morning to see if they want to rent the place. We are hoping so, as that will save us $300+ if they start renting 1/2 through the month. :) I hope so!
Right now I am dead pooped. Andy and I stopped at Lowes in our mop run, and looked at lawn mowers, water softners, and snow blowers for the new house. We are planning on waiting with the snowblower until next winter. Hopefully our shovel will be ok for one more month of snow. My plan is to get a Push Reel Mower for the yard. These don't use fuel, are quiet and good for the environment. Not to mention, only cost about $150. I think we may need an extender for it though, since Andy is so tall! Now I am going to investigate greener options in snowblowers.
It looks like we will be having to spend some money when we move in. We aren't too worried about that, but it seems to keep adding up. Right away I will hold back on unnecessary purchases, and work at only getting things we really do need. It will be hard though, as we are both excited to make the place our home.
