Overall I thought this was a pretty good episode. Chloe had a pretty big role in this episode so that made me happy. It was great when Clark told Chloe that he should have listened to her the first time. If only the BDA would listen to her all time. I loved AM's acting in this episode. She did a great job during the scene between her and Clark and she was pretending to be mugged. How cute was that?:D Not only was her acting top notch, but she looked absolutely amazing! I am loving the suits that Chloe has been wearing lately.
I really felt for Clark in this episode. At first I was pretty annoyed with his selfishness, nothing new there, lol, but then once he decided not to kill the gang member because his father would not have wanted him to he started to redeem himself. The end of the episode was so sad. It was refreshing and touching to see Clark cry. He usually holds all his emotions in and that is what got him into trouble this episode.
I loved the talk between Martha and Chloe. The characters have a great connection and AoT and AM act so well together. They both amazing actresses.
and can you say Chlois? I mean this episode was very Chloisy. Chloe was writing an article on Andrea and she came up with the name for her superhero identity. I know that Al shot down the Chlois theory, but the anvils seem to keep on coming.
Oh, and I am digging the Mionel. The Lexana was better in Lockdown, but it is still pretty good. Lex is going through so much pain and you can really see it.
Okay, I never got around to my thoughts on reckoning so I will just post them now
The beginning of the episode with Lana and Clark in the FOS was very grand, but not very realistic in the way Lana reacted to Clark. All the previous seasons have told us that Lana would not be accepting of Clark or would at least be very freaked out! She was extremely surprised, but accepted it very quickly and this bothered me. I could not believe that she would accept him so quickly especially after they had sex. I know that Clark was human at that point, but he still should have told her before moving on to that stage of intimacy.
I am pretty mad that JK died and Lana lived because of Clark's desperate need to save Lana. Clark should have known that if he saved Lana someone else would die.
The ending at the funeral was beautiful. I loved that look that Chloe gave Clark. She looked so understanding. *sigh*
