Just watched my copy of
My Man Godfrey (the 1936 one). I adore this movie. It should be required viewing. While I love William Powell sharing the screen with Myrna Loy, Carole Lombard is quite adorable with him as are all the supporting cast. This is a classic example of a screwball comedy where the dialog is quick paced, witty and comical. The characters are over the top and of course you get William playing drunk which is always worth admission. Seriously, put the movie on your Netflix list, you won't be sorry.
I really need to add some classic movie icons to my pics. They are such a part of my life that they really should be recognized by me somehow.
