Found the bloody Choccobo-trainer-moron. And she's stealing all the balloons in the beginning of that bloody race!! I get sooo annoyed, 'cause if you can't get those 5-6 balloons in the beginning there's no use racing at all if you wish to achieve the 00:00 time. *tries to force his choccobobbo to hit against the rocky mountains fore some bloody gore of satisfaction for the frustrated rider* But otherwise game is going splendid. I have Yojimbo now. :haato:
Still sick. Otherwise I feel quite nice, but I still keep coughing - a LOT - and all my muscles hurt. And my eyes too. They've been all red for several days now. Was worried at first, but then read from some pharmacy webpage that it's a normal symptom to a normal influenza (or however that one is spelled in English).
Asko has started to play computer games! Seriously! I was wondering what he was doing, since first I thought he was just listening to random music, when I realised the same song had been playing for quite some time now. That's when I realised he's actually playing something. First I thought it was just some miniclip game, since he has been quite fond of those for a while, but when I came to check it out... it was some simple rpg-game!! *facepalms* RPG!!! *faints*
Also, he was playing some Mario rip-off one day. I suggested that he could use my emu-ROM and install the program + all the original super mario games inside. He declined. I'm not quite sure whether his hate towards some games is that I'm better in them, or already know how they work, or what... *shrugs* Dunno... Sometimes I just get that kind of a feeling inside... :/ I mean... I've been playing platform games (for instance) for over 20 years now. I should know all the basic tricks you need to do to solve those most common problems any 2d platform game has. But it wouldn't mean I'd tell all the secrets without letting him find out for himself. Or be advicing all the time what to do next or where to go. I too hate that kind of stuff so much!!
Sometimes he just seems sooo competitive in everything. And he really hates losing. And that kind of a combination is... bad for gamers trying to have fun together. I mean... When I first played Mario Karts a few years back, I was sooo bad. Annika drove well and made sure we got to the next stage, and I was driving the stages backwards and shooting all the cars that came towards me. I was happy if I even hit any cars during a race!! It wasn't about playing it perfect - it was about having fun. Sometimes dropping in the same lava pond for ten times in a row was just f*cking hilarious!! (And sometimes you throw the game out of the window after such incidents...)
After writing this medium long entry about games makes me feel nerdy. Must resist buying microwave pizza (eaten cold, of course) and coca cola... (however, I think the 'one minute noodles' have become the 'microwave pizza' of the new millennia... and you can eat those raw too! No need to cook 'em. Taste like snacks.)
