From a very young age, there was always this air of superiority that followed the princess wherever she went. She wore it like a cloak, one that could not be removed, though she would not remove it were she given the option. Because she had discovered that people would shy away from her, afraid of displeasing her and earning a red brand as punishment.
She liked that kind of power; it fed her addiction and spurred her ambition, knowing that she had the ability to bend people to suit her whims. She sat up high on this untouchable perch and dared any who crossed paths with her to knock her from it. It was a challenge she longed for her brother to accept and when he did, she would thoroughly enjoy crushing him into a heap of ash at her feet.
