The will to go on in 2006

So here is my 2 cents on willpower and whining.

Most people are content to float through life. Complaining about what’s wrong in their life, moping from one day to the next. No desire to change anything for themselves. Inertia and whining have become their home. They have no idea that within the palm of their hands and in the heart is the power to do almost anything. Most people just don’t know how to call this power up from within them.

It’s quite easy really. You have to have the desire for something, a better job, a change in looks perhaps even a change of town. The force of motion to get you to your desired wish is will power.

The strength to carry on, to get things done, to finish the race. It’s why Lance Armstrong wins races, it’s why cancer survivors choose to live and do, and it’s what gives you direction and purpose.

It’s sad to see so many wallow in the filth of their creation. But honestly, if you have no desire to pick yourself up, clean yourself off and get on with your life then you belong in the muck with all the pigs.
