Hello to whoever still reads my entries
:-D
*waves*
It as been ages since I posted anything so I would be more surprised if I got feedback than not.
But I got lazy with the posting and the active stuff and driffted more and more to the whole passive/lurking thing aka reading reading and more reading which means consuming tons of fanfiction of all kinds of fandoms.
So why posting now?
Well I am in a bit of nostalgia as I started to reread LitGal's The Kin Series
http://archiveofourown.org/series/161801 Interlude for all of you who never have heard of it. The Kin Series is a crossover between BtVS and The Sentinel with the focus on BtVS.
The first part of the series is called "Kin of Heart" and could be labled as a BtVS gen fanfic with just guest appearencse of Blair from The Sentinel.
It centers mainly on the characters of Xander as well as Angel.
Characters grow, people change and relationships develop and so the second part "Kin of the Soul" is going to be slash.
Part 3 Kin of the Clan just started but it already shows that The Sentinel fandom is getting more of the lime light than before.
LitGal has just has begun to post new chapters of the third part of this great series and they envoked the need in me to read the whole series again
as I was reminded how much I loved it.
I am looking forward to the new stuff but I really enjoy reading the old stuff.
As anybody knows I really really like LitGal's writing style and her fanfiction.
Again, I recommand to everyone to visit her lj page and surf through her fiction, everyone will find something that tickles their fancy.
As for the promised movie rec it is about "Love Punch" which is in the theaters right now.
It is a charming comedy and lovely feel-good-movie with wonderful cast.
Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson are playing the aged divorcees Richard and Kate. Shortly before his retirement Richard, his firm, his employees and all the pensions are fallen victim to an unmoral hedgefond manager.Suddenly both have to stick together to get back what is theirs.
It is fun to follow their journey and their crazy shemes. Kudos also to their supporting cast Timothy Spall and Celia Irmie as Richard and Kates friends and neighbours.
A perfect movie for an rainy autum day where you need something to laugh.
