An explanation

So, you've seen my picture; here is a new one!

You're probably wondering what the hell these things are. I will tell you:
The first one, entitled "sine," was made with gunplot. It shows you amplitude modulation, the easiest kind of analog signal transfer technique. This is, coincidentally, how AM radio works.

The new one, if you look closely, is a chip that reads "DEEP CRACK." Deep Crack is a hella-cool machine. It uses a whole bunch of these babies (each of which has 24 independent crunchers) to brute force a DES encrypted message. Here it is in all its glory, 27 of these boards. Mmmmmmm.
