I can always count on Christopher Walken to amuse me...
Scariest Christopher Walken picture EVER Now that I've been promoted, I'm expected to go to luncheons and dinners with people from our parent company...so far I've avoided going twice, but I'm starting to wonder how long I can continue finding ways to get out of going. I'm not exactly a master at small talk, so I don't know why they want me to go anyways, I wish I were one of those people who could just chat incessantly about mundane topics, such as weather and health, but I've never had that skill.
I suppose it's free food at a nice restaurant, right? There has to be an upside. Maybe if I'm forced to go, I can order a ridiculously overpriced meal, and they will find it so rude they will ban me from any further outings. What else can I do? Maybe I can make a disgusting drink out of my water by mixing in whatever ingredients are on the table (salt, pepper, soy sauce, ketchup, beer, cheese, fries, meat) and dare co-workers to drink it for $5? If they refuse, I will throw the drink on the table and yell "ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?" and then storm out of the restaurant.
