Doctor Johnson

Mark's lab, Sooty, found a bird which he took over here. When I got home I tried to find out what kind of bird it was on the 'net but that proved fruitless. Spent like an hour searching to no end. Gah. Annoying.

Man, it would be just out luck if it's like, some endangered species - like the last of its kind and it's in our hands now o.O

Anyway, I took photos with my phone, but that doesn't have USB plug thing (goddamn it) - so I'm gonna have to get one of them tomorrow.

In the meantime for anyone who knows anything about birds, it's grey (mum thought it might be a pigeon) with this long crown/crest thing on it's head, just a single spike. It's beak was hooked, like a bird of prey. Uh, it was anything but timid around everyone and the three dogs, too. It's tail fanned out too, a bit.

If anything can categorise it, it's the head though.

For now, I'm gonna call it Doctor Johnson. That way, it can still be a girl (which is most likely), and still be reminiscent of the great literary figure (most quoted after Shakespeare, according to wiki).
