Fanmix
I know that there's just been an (awesome) fanmix posted yesterday, but the last episode of Supernatural (Mystery Spot) had me thinking, so I came up with this. It's not only from Sam's POV, but also from people around him or just general thoughts. I really don't want to spoil anyone so I'll do a bigger explanation in the cut.

Anyway, when Sam was 3 months alone without Dean, he became fearless and determined to get his brother back. He becomes cold and everybody's losing him. He doesn't care about killing innocent people. He doesn't care about himself anymore. The only thing he wants is Dean, and that becomes an obsession for him. That is just asking for a fanmix, in my opinion. :P
