Wow. It's been a really long time LJ. I wonder how many people still check their LJ's. Regardless, I'll start keeping up with this thing again. It's funny reading back on all these old posts. How young and hot headed I always was. Just reading an realizing how much life can change and how yourself as a person can change.
I'm sure at the time I was posting most of these Journal entries I thought there were justifiable reasons for the constant vulgarity and negative attitude. I'm not saying I don't swear still. But there is a time and place for it.
Right now I'm just typing what comes to mind. I've almost forgotten how to write a journal entry.
I guess I should update everyone that still reads this to let everyone know exactly what direction this life has taken me. The last three journal entries I posted on here are from 2007, 2008, and 2009. However, none of these really indicate any of the big changes that that have taken place between these times. So here, I'll write a book. Being that it's 2013 and 2007 was a LONG time ago.
Prologue
[2007] - This was a pretty rough year for me from what I can remember and these days I don't really remember much from the years before. I remember the beginning of the year started of pretty easy. I had just turned 20 that march. Really hardcore into "Punk Rock" and Skateboarding. One of my old best friends at the time "John Vinson" if anyone remembers who he was. Had just moved into my apartment in an old plantation home off of Esplanade and North Broad, in New Orleans. After having some huge falling out with his mother and some pushing from me to come stay with me. Now that I look back. That guy was always a weird. Just completely socially inept. Regardless, after some pushing from some friends back in Los Angeles asking us to move back out to there. We moved back to Los Angeles.
Though, my experience wasn't nearly as bad as my 2005 - 2006 experience of being homeless in Los Angeles. It was still a pretty back experience with very few positive memories from what I can recall. We had moved in with this gay couple we knew who had some property in Van Nuys with rooms to spare and were renting a room from them. However, this small bedroom was not Cheap. $800 dollars a month. That's what I paid at my last apartment for a 2 bedroom 2 bath.
I ended up getting a job at Activision Inc. as a Quality Assurance Tester. That job lasted about 5 - 6 months. It was a contract job. But the pay was pretty good. $10 dollars an hour and $15 Dollars an hour overtime. There was a LOT of overtime also. But alas that job ended in about October - November 2007 and the problems caused by money (or a lack there of) came.
The first problem came when I was having difficulty making rent... I want to add... The room was 800 a month... But I shared it with John and we both had to pay 800. Which was pretty scummy of the people renting the room to us. When I couldn't come up with rent they gave me an 3 choice ultimatum. This ultimatum consisted of 1.) Put out (have sex with them), 2.) Find another Job real fast, or 3.) Move out immediately. Knowing that I am not gay, they knew choice number A was not an option for me. However, John was more than willing to partake in choice A if it meant a free place to stay. However, finding a job wasn't easy either. So I ended up moving in with the Guitarist from my band. Which was okay for a while. Till they also had an issue with the fact that I couldn't find a job in L.A. But, neither could they.
In the end, the falling out with everyone but my Best friend Johnny (Not John Vinson) occured. I moved back to New Orleans with a hand full of New Enemy's back in L.A. and less than positive memories.
[2008] - This year is going only need a short explanation. I turned 21. I worked the first half of the year with my stepfathers AC and Heating company. I joined the Army after becoming extremely tired of dealing with the Navy's waiting game. Did what I had to do. Some details I will not go into.
[2009 - 2010] - Left Active Duty and Went Reserves. Got a job working for Computrols Inc. Laid off 4 months later. Moved to Lafayette, Louisiana. In an apartment above my friends garage. Had a Job doing Security at a Nightclub called Graham Central Station. Leave to go to my dad's for the 4th of July and come back to the Night Club being closed down. Couldn't find a job, owed back rent a lot to my friends. Eventually opt'd to move out and in with another friend in Sunset, La. The friends started calling me asking for money saying I still owed them money when I didn't. Eventually cut them off.
[2011 - 2012] Army Status: Inactive Reserve till 2016. Became a hardcore political activist heavily involved in the Militia movement and The American Resistance. Teamed up with a guy who had me Webmaster, Manage, Maintain, and Promote his website. Gained a bit of a following because of my experience in the Army and my vocal yet calm approach to Political issues. He turned on the moment. Had to oust him. Became involved with the Libertarian Party Of Louisiana and less active with the Resistance. This time period was built upon self-education and self-reflection.
[Mid-2012] - Started making plans to go overseas for a year and work in China. Joined a website where I was messaged by a lovely Japanese woman in March of that year. Who helped me out with most things in order to get to China.
[2013 so far] - February I flew into Beijing where I met up with this lovely Japanese woman. March 25 was my 26th birthday and March 26th I got married to this lovely Japanese woman who I now call my wife. I am currently living in Dalian, Liaoning, China with my wife in our House in one of the Upper Middle Class area's of Dalian.
So that's been my adventure over the past few years. Now I can start updating my weekly experiences.
