(no subject)
Er, camping is put off for the weekend because there is an alternator that needs to be fixed. *grumble* Maybe the weekend after Thanksgiving.
So, The Boy is heading down to his family's house and I think I'm hanging out up here because I have three big projects coming up and I really don't feel like being stuck at someone else's house all weekend. I'd miss my bed.
So, I think it will be a weekend filled with being grungy and comfy and drinking cocoa. Yes. It will. I am currently home alone, will see The Boy off almost as soon as he gets home tonight and then I will wrap up in a thick blanket and be a slacker.
I'm working on a spoken word project with a friend for this gallery thing. It should be...interesting. I think I have a rather nasally voice, but they aren't turning out too bad. My part is almost done, now my friend just has to record some music in the background. He works with wind instruments, so it will be really pretty.
I got a ride home with my boss today because she didn't like me waiting out in the snow for the buss. *amused* She is such a grandma! She really is the most maternal person I know and I think it's very sweet. And my toes were happy for the ride. :)
