Well, we said what we needed to before that meddling child showed up. But it’s what happened after that. I know you think you saw me melt. And that’s what you were supposed to see. In reality, I went through a trap door Fiyero showed me. The timing and place I stood had to be perfect, so it was a huge risk. But you know how the Ozians were. I had to in order to save my life.
I knew that deep down it would hurt you to see me “die” ~ even if publically you were celebrating with everyone else. It’s ok. I understand how important image can be. But deep down…
Glinda, I miss you. You’re my best friend and I wish I could see you. Fiyero and I are hidden. I can’t even tell you generally where. But we’re both safe. Well…let’s just say that the Grimmerie’s spells can do some funny things, but he’s at least kind of alive… Maybe, hopefully, one day we can come to see you. Until then, know that you’re in my heart.
