Today is really hot *meh*
OwO But while the weather should be reason enough for me to hide in a nice dark place, I did finish watch this season of "Claymore". I don't know where the manga is, but I know a new chapter is due in Nov., so I don't think a second season will be out soon - prolly next year. Which is way better than having to wade through nonsense fillers.
The final battle with Clare and Priscilla breaks all stops and it kinda had me feeling the DBZ vibe. Massive power ups for all! In the end Raki stops Clare from killing Priscilla, and Jeane stops her from killing him - Priscilla is taken away by Easley.
Clare manages to turn back her released form with Jeane's help; it was Jeane's last wish. Everyone splits up then - to hide from the organization, to research them and to train. Deneve and Helen go off together (*heh*) and Miria goes her own way, with the promise to meet up in the future, Clare and Raki stay together, as Clare tries to find her new purpose to live.
I plan a re-watch sometime this week and it shall be awesome.
Also finally got down to watching the end of Code Geass: Lelouch of the rebellion.
I really love this show. The end is all apocalyptic and awesome, and Lulu's (^_^) identity as "Zero" is finally revealed to Suzaku and Karen.
I hate Suzaku - I really do. He's so self-righteous, and Lulu drew the line at killing him so many times, and yet, Suzaku gets all this glory for faking to be a honorable soldier. Then he has the gall to be all bold and tell Lulu that "he'd take care of Nanaly" and that Lulu's existence wasn't supposed to be. Suzaku hides behind his idealism, when his crimes are far worse.
My fav character is Lulu, he's just awesome and fabulous with his swishy cape, and he accepts his actions. But he truly does it for his noble wish of a peaceful future for his sister and well, fiery vengeance against his dad. Having my own "daddy issues", I so know how he feels and cheer him on!
Happily there's gonna be another season, though no details on when. I hope Lulu manages to survive save Nanaly and get closer to his goal. I also hope that Suzaku dies a painful death for being a pretentious asshole.
And I actually ended up liking C.C., she's loyal to Lulu, and looks out for him. Even if he's completely insane.
I continue to avoid Bleach. Actually, one thing I can say about now being into het' fiction, is that there's an over-abundance of Mary-sue's and bad characterization. The Mary Sue thing is actually tricky, but you can always tell when your favourite character is suddenly admired and loved by everyone and is incapable of being in the wrong, and occasionally starts weeping at heart-break. ?o_O
Sadly these faults are usually integrated into the story slowly, and by that time I'm just reading it 'cause the plot is mildly entertaining, and the author's characters just happen to share the same name as characters I ship. I hope reading things like that doesn't encourage bad fiction on the 'net. *shrugs*
