damn emo
Ye gods, have just watched eppies 12 & 13 of "Bokurano". I was joking when I said that I thort the show intended to make me cry every damn episode, but apparently my paranoia was justified.

Since it's the mid-season, its time for the big revealing of mysteries. While it was always suspicious, now its been made fact that the other robots are actually piloted by other human, fighting for other Earths. The battles are a form of "weeding out" possible future Earths that are not that different from ours.
Why?
Apparently the Universe is crowded, so much for infinite space. *assholes*
The last world was an "away" game, and in that world they were down to 5 competitors. And the public knew what they were fighting for, and there were people supporting the fights, and their fighters weren't children. It was fucked up like @_@ When they defeated the robot, the planet literally was burned up, think "Akira", 'cept fiery death instead of white fury. Then the stars disappeared, 'cause the kids aren't just fighting for Earth, they're fighting for the *entire* Universe. Brilliant.
New ED theme that's *way* more cheerful than the other "lets hug and slash our wrists in the tub" one, but I liked the emo one more. Also I'm fearing that this will be what people were murmuring about before; that Gonzo was going to take the angst out of the plot - I dunno, I don't hate Gonzo particularly, I don't see the point of changing things now that they've made me CRY for like every damn episode.
Ushiro continues to wear all black and look like he's gonna take a gun to middle school, thankfully he seems to be skipping school. Is it mad that he's my fav character, just 'cause he's so emo, and is the most overtly fucked up of the kids. I think I may need more therapy.
I forgot to bring something to hug *dammit*, so just sniffled quietly @ the utter d00m. That being said the show is just that cool. Have started d/l "Lucky Star", inspired by this vid from
spargo1 and the knowledge that I was gonna need sum happy. His latest IchiRuki vid is made of so much awesome.
Also watched the DVD extras from Sukisyo! ~ LULZ! Hikaru Midorikawa makes me happy, and he's Miki's pal *yayz*
