It's a wonder why we do it all.
I went to Lancaster yesterday with my mom and dad. It was a lot of fun. We mostly did a lot of shopping, but we did tour an Amish house and learned a little history about them. We also saw many Amish people in their buggies or riding these scooters. We went to a lot of stores looking at the antiques and the items that the Amish people make to well....make a living. I took a good 100 pictures or so. Almost filled up the memory in the digi cam. Maybe I'll post them later. I tried to get a picture of the Amish people, but see they think it's wrong to get their pictures taken...so I tried to get them in their buggies as they passed the car, but none of them came out well no matter how slow we were going. It's funny it's like something's protecting them. My mom bought a lot of stuff to decorate the house with. She loves Lancaster. She always used to go there. I bought a few things too. I got a litle jewelry box and a candle. There's a place in Lancaster called Intercourse, PA. Go figure right? So my dad bought me a t-shirt that says I <3 Intercourse in big letters and then Pa in small ones. Hahahaha it was great. They had other shirts...one said "Intercourse was all I'd thought it be and more" and then Pennsylvania below it. Another one said "Maryland may have crabs, but Pennsylvania has Intercourse." Well, these t-shirts made for a good time. We had many laughs. Then we eventually had dinner....and then it poured buckets.....so we headed home. All in all it was a great day. I wish I could say today was great too. I don't I'm just not happy today....
