And for the next round of the prestigious POT calling KETTLE Awards we look to Seattle Grace Hospital and its randy staff.
First up, is the Chief himself, Dr. Richard Webber. Nominated for an unprecedented five seasons running, Chief Webber outdoes himself again, this time firing Dr. Callie Torres from her position as Chief Resident for getting Bailey to cover for her. Just jealous, perhaps?
Speaking of Dr. Callie Torres, she is up with a first time nomination this round for some infuriatingly out of character behaviour. The charge: cheating on her partner with her best friend. Apparently George and ‘traitorous bitch’ Izzie’s drunken encounter is one thing, but deliberate, planned cheating, completely sober, twice, in the same day as you woke up with your partner, in the hospital where she works, while she is working, is completely understandable. And Ok.
Dr. Derek Shepherd, who recently took out the title on My Horseshit Don’t Stink, is nominated for another round of asshattery. This time, his royal Dreaminess is recognised for failing to equate the privacy he seeks with the kind of privacy he provides. Failing to knock on the trailer door - rude and infuriating, naturally. Pottering around a woman’s bedroom with a tape measure, while she is in the shower - perfectly acceptable.
But the winner of this round has to be Dr. Izzie ‘sleeping with her dead fiancées ghost’ Stevens for calling Ava/Rebecca crazy. Seems that poor, mixed up girl hasn’t cornered the market on crazy. And somehow the whole phantom baby fiasco doesn’t seem so nuts to us anymore.
