today was actually a good day. i think it was b/c i made an effort to change my attitude. i need to stop being such a cry baby complainer all the time. and i got paid today. money makes my world go 'round folks. anyway, vilda started work at cold stone yestarday and i got to train her. yay me b/c it's actually the manager's job, but since i do his WHOLE job anyways no sense in changing routine. today she worked again w/me and it was pretty fun. it was super chill today so that was good. towards the end of my shift this guy walked in and introduced himself to me and it turns out he's friends w/kate (another girl i work w/) and he came in to meet me b/c he's going to nyu too! aww, don't i feel special. he's real nice so hopefully we'll become friends so i won't have to go there by myself. so far this is the running tally of people i know on the east coast:
Alicia~(woohoo! wasn't sure about that one) she'll be at vassar upstate
Kenny~ (kate's friend) at nyu
Emilie~ (my cousin) she'll be in nj at princeton
(peter, you better be out there next year)
odd thing happened the other day. pat called me out of the blue and wants to hang out. i haven't heard from that kid in FOREVER. he didn't even know i graduated early. i really miss him though. he was my best friend in 8th grade and then we kind of drifted apart and then became really good friends again during sophmore year and stayed friends up until the end of junior year when he started to change a lot. i loved hanging out w/him and he was the only one i could really talk to about anything. he's so different now it makes me want to cry. i won't go into anymore detail b/c this really should be a private entry, but i just want my friend back.
oh! i almost forgot! my uncle (actually cousin, but he's like 30 so i call him my uncle) bought us plane tickets for ny. the day after graduation we're leaving for nyc to see nyu and he has to do some research or something. he teaches law at ucla and has to do some sort of research over summer in ny so it works out perfectly. he also went to nyu law school so he knows the campus and the city really well so he'll be the perfect guide.
i love my 3 day weekends. no school or work so that means i get to sleep in on friday, saturday, and sunday. omg you know you're jealous.
