Time for an info update, I think.
WEATHER UPDATE: "The weather out there today is hot and shitty with continued hot and shitty in the afternoon. Tomorrow a chance of continued crappy with a pissy weather front coming down from the north. Basically, it's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut." *
FRIENDS UPDATE: Most of the "peeps" are still in Europe. Alas.
MOVIE UPDATE: Saw War of the Worlds, complete with most copped-out ending ever. Have yet to see Batman, sigh. Am probably on the verge of being cajoled into seeing Herbie.
CULTURE UPDATE: I watched a History Channel Special that discussed how King Edward the (some number) was executed by having a red hot poker shoved up his bowels. And then something came on about the witch burnings in Salem (no pokers in that one, though...I know, odd, eh?)
FANGIRL UPDATE: OMG nine days till HP&HBP!!!!!! Eeee!!!! That's, like, almost seven!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!

SIBLING UPDATE: Juli has discovered the internet and is therefore glued to the moniter more often than not. Jake's still gimpy, but not as previously gimpy as before. More like "Tiny Tim" than "Motionless Tim".
EXTERMINATION UPDATE: 5 spiders, approx 40 mayflies, 2 roly poly bugs, and I might have inadvertantly caused the drowning of a grasshopper by chasing it into the pool.
