Rolling my eyes as the other two vamps turned to face Cordy I hit both of them with a stake in each fist, watching as they turned to dust. Think the vamps have gotten dumber while I've been away.

"Would it kill you to let me take care of the evil fiends? Remember, you brought me back to do that sort of thing." I'd known she could take care of herself, but since when was she surprise attack wonderwoman?

"Yeah, I did." I said, and he did kind of have a point. But I wasn't about to sit in the car while he ran off to play the big hero. I mean, yeah I get that's his whole deal being champion and everything but hey! This visiongirl can kick a little ass too. "But I've been killing evil fiends for the last few years while you've been dead so I guess you'll just have to deal with a little help." I smiled at him, knowing he couldn't stay irritated at me as long as I smiled brightly enough. I was Cordelia, that's what I did.

Now that the monsters were dead hopefully the vision part of the evening, was long over? It wasn't exactly the things dreams were made of. I wanted to kiss him and bring him home and remove his fashion faux pas and....whoa! Okay, I realized that it had been awhile and I no longer had a loofah toting phantom hanging around but sheesh!

Damn it, I was trying to look irritated when she flashed that smile of hers. I knew that smile, been looking forward to seeing it for more then a while.

"Don't think I don't know what your trying to do." Folding my arms I set my jaw. "Did I teach you how to be so sneaky? Cause I really don't remember doing that."

"Oh please." I raised an eyebrow at him. "You teach me how to be sneaky?" My smile grew wider as I looked him over. Sure, Angel could on occasion be the king of all things stealthy but usually? He was always tripping over himself when he was trying really hard to be super stealthy. "You'd be surprised how sneaky cheerleaders are." I informed him, and wasn't that just the truth?

I tilted my head and looked up at him as he tried his hardest to look irritated with me. He wasn't pulling it off very well. "Come on." I said taking his arm. "Let's go home. I mean, unless you want to stay out here and watch me kill some more vampires." I teased him lightly.

"Is that so? Why do I think you and Harmony couldn't surprise anyone in your cheerleading uniforms." Letting her pull me back toward the car I tried to hide the smirk forming on my face. She had been really...spirited when she was a cheerleader.

"Ok, ok. Don't want you showing me up anymore. Besides you might get bored and decide to have a go with me."

Ugh. He just had to group me with Harmony didn't he? Miss secretary of Wolfram and Hart and all things EVIL! I so didn't think I deserved to be put in the same category as her.

"Have a go with you?" I raised an eyebrow at him as we got closer to the car. "Someone's getting a little ahead of himself." I teased him, despite knowing exactly what he had meant. Although, can we just talk about how long it's been since vision girl has gotten some? It's been a long long time, so mostly I was okay with him getting ahead of himself.

"Hey, whoa...back up. I didn't mean that kind of going to the go." If I could blush, I would be doing just that. Guess thats one perk to having no blood circulation.

"So, new topic?" Right, lets all watch as Angel pulls his foot out of his mouth and hobbles around like a eunuch. "Did Harmony actually survive the whole me destroying Wolfram and Hart deal? I never was bored enough to try and haunt her or anything." Winking I added a quietly. "Too busy watching you shower."

Oh. Of course he didn't mean that kind of go. Why was it that no one seemed to appreciate the hotness of me anymore? I really was starting to miss Dennis. And hey! I'm hot!

"Yeah, Harm survived. Although I haven't heard from her since, last I knew she ran off to Jamaica or something with some guy." Why were we talking about Harmony. Sheesh. If he missed her so much he could just run right to Jamaica and fight vampires there.

"Too busy watching you shower."

I gave him a sharp look until a small smile crept over my face. Well dammit, it was about time.

"What? Did you take Haunting 101 from Spike?"

Wonder how long the locals will put up with Harmony trying to fit in and 'be cool mon'. Picturing her with dreads I shuddered. Then she mentioned Spike and I scowled.

"You know your going to pay for the one right? Besides, I have all those years of being jealous about Dennis and his loofah skills to get over too."

Pulling her closer to me I put one arm over her as we walked. The whole not touching thing was bothering me. It was time for some touching.

"Hey!" I exclaimed, smacking him in the midsection with one hand. "How did you know about that?" I was pretty sure the only one I accidently spilled the Dennis is great with a loofah spiel was Wesley. During which he pretended that he had no idea what I was talking about, God bless him.

"Stupid super vampire senses. Eavesdropper!" I accused him but couldn't help but smile again as his arm draped possessively around me. Skin! Human contact! Alright, I'm pathetic, I admit it.
