With a slight groan I tried to roll over in bed. It couldn't really be time for work yet, could it? I was still so tired and hey, why did my head hurt so much? And since when did my bed hurt my back so much? Opening my eyes I gasped as I saw the situation I had gotten myself into. I was tied to the bannisters on the steps at Hyperion, and without any clothes on. Angelus had found me hiding in the closet, and I so knew that was a bad idea to begin with. I guess I just wussed out on fighting him, which to be fair is probably good because then I'd be much more dead....again, and much less tied naked to a bannister. Okay, maybe it would have been better if he'd just killed me, because now I was really stuck here.
"Help!" I yelled out, hearing my own voice echoing through the empty lobby. Quickly I shut my mouth again, alerting Angelus to the fact that I was now awake and still helpless as a kitten probably wasn't a good idea if he was still lurking around the hotel.
He had probably already left though, helpless blondes need to be killed and this was the city to do it in. That was a startling thought, I had brought Angelus back to begin massacreing the city of L.A. Great, one more near apocalypse that's my fault. I know, technically last time it wasn't really my fault, it was the evil thing that had taken over my body. But somehow I always felt responsible for doing things like oh, killing Wesley's girlfriend. Even though she was really evil.
So now I'm stuck here, tied and naked to the stairs, and who the hell is going to let me out of here exactly? With Wesley and Fred MIA, Spike and Doyle on walkabout, and Faith no where to be found I didn't have a lot of options. I'd probably starve to death before someone came to let me out of here. Struggling in the ropes, I tried to loosen them slightly, just enough to escape but all I ended up doing was rubbing the skin on my wrists raw. Breathing hard I rested back on the steps again, just a couple minutes to catch my breath and then I'd try to work my way loose again. Because right now, Angelus was out in the city doing God knows what, and no one else knew except me. I had to get out of here and call.....Spike? Great, it was starting to look like my only two options left were Spike and Faith. Could we pick less reliable people to have to...rely on? I didn't think so. Thanks for up and disappearing on me Wesley, it's not like I needed you around here or anything. Oh wait, I did. Because maybe if he'd been here, I wouldn't have had to cast that spell all on my own and it might have actually gone right instead of bringing back Angel's evil leather pants wearing twin.
Who was I kidding? This was all my fault.
"Hello?! Anybody?!!!"
