Illyria got all wierded out when I asked her if she was mad. She really hated it when I asked her questions, which was kinda fucked considering all she ever did was ask me questions. Hey, I'm not the most open person in the world ever and I put up with 'em. Well, okay I put up with 'em because she was my only hope for figuring out how to fix

Snatching the keys out of midair as she tossed them carelessly I leaned in whispering her ear. "Guess who's back?"

"Angel?" I asked, squinting up to him. How had this happened? Did Cor and the rest of the supergang finally make him a real boy again?

"Have you seen Wes around? I've been....waiting for him."

He didn't talk like Angel. But I was just bein' paranoid, right?
"I haven't seen him in over a month." I said, looking away from him. "I don't know where he is. Sorry."

"You remember me don't you Faithy? I was going to give you what you really wanted last time but you went and fucked it all up!"
Throwing her back into a wall I stood above her, scowling. Something was wrong with her, she stunk of sickness. "What the hell is your problem?"

Rubbing my throat I stood back up, wasn't gonna let him see me afraid.
"How could I not remember you? We had a fun little brain trip, where I got to babysit your ass until they shoved a soul back into you." What the fuck was going on? Who had Angel been screwing now? And how was he screwing anyone when last time I saw him he was just a ghost.

Had to love the fact she got back up. She wasn't the type to just lay on her back and take it. That was more Buffy's style.
"Almost funny isn't it, Angel goes out and fulfills his big noble destiny, and here I am. Poetic really, Spike should write something about it." Hope Spike appreciated seeing Cordy all spread out and restrained. "Now what are you doing here if Wes is long gone? Don't tell me he got tired of fucking you and left you."

"They shoved a soul back into you once, what makes you so sure it won't happen again?" I felt all my muscles start to tense up, ready for a throwdown. Some of them I hadn't used in a while and I could already feel the ache where I tensed them up. Why hadn't I brought Illyria with me?
I eyed him trying to figure out what the best way would be to distract him and get back to the car. As much as I loved a good throwdown I really didn't dig the idea of gettin' my ass handed to me again.

How disappointed, I hit her sore spot on the first try. Where was the tough taunting slayer I wanted? Always liked it when they kept fighting back.
"Funny thing about the soul deal, I don't feel ol' Angel anywhere inside me now. He's gone, its just me now Faithy." Pulled her in close, growling low. "Want to play?"

"Might wanna watch it though. Not like last time, where you only had to deal with me or Buff. Now there's a whole army of slayers. Wonder how many you could kill before they ganged up on you and made you dust in the wind." Backing away from him, I faked another punch at him and distracted him enough to make a beeline for where he'd dropped my keys on the ground.

Keeping an eye on Angelus, I saw him watching Wesley. I crept towards the car door and opened it, finding my stake inside I gripped it in my hand as I turned to look at him again.
"Great timing." I hissed at Wesley, sarcastically.

Smirked at his tough look. All brass and balls with ol Wes nowadays. Shame he couldn't have waited and found Faith burning to death.
"You don't mind if I smoke do you?" Lighting a smoke with a match I had to love how clueless they were. "Faith's really been missing you Wes. Really do have her whipped, have to give you credit there boyo. Too bad your about to be homeless."
Dropping the match a trail of gas ignited toward his building, sending the place up in flames quickly.

Thought about going after Angelus for all of a second, and then quickly decided against it. I didn't know what had happened to him, but I'd already done all I could for Angel, I didn't owe him anymore. Mostly I just wanted to be left alone.
"Welcome home." I said dryly to Wesley.
