Oh yay! I was so excited to see that there was more!

Very sweet. Although I'm pissed at Elphaba for lying.

I understand why she did it and all... but I'm definitely mad at her. Lying to poor Glinda is not okay.

"That's how I intend to think of it from now on. A narrow escape."

Aw, and shouldn't we all. I'll have to remember that line. ;)

or perhaps he simply felt that he had taken upon himself the responsibility for helping Elphaba navigate the window

For some reason, this keeps making me laugh. xD

I still want this to be a novel. Ha.

I loved how inept Elphaba was with the corkscrew; no doubt had Melena lived a little longer, she would have seen such a maneuver many times over.

Fiyero hasn't been stupid yet, so that's good. I'm not really all that disappointed in Elphaba for lying, actually, though it interrupted the general warm-and-fuzzyness.

The last line was great.

yeah - I actually think the only thing that's bad about her lying is that it wasn't really a necessary one. and you can remain vaguely confident in Fiyero, at least for a while. :)

sighhhhhhhh...love the gelphie kissing! poor glinda, but yay for the gelphieness! and these lines rocked:

"You don't have to thank me." Glinda's hair brushed against Elphaba's cheek as she leaned their heads together. "I'm here." It was fast becoming a mantra of theirs.

Glinda lifted their clasped hands to lay over her heart and whispered, "Thank goodness."

keep up the glephie *grins* love your style!
