after years and year, Orochimaru, I think you left the "s" off of the second "years", but other than that this was a nice one. I love this sentence: "All he could see was her, because now she had changed, had grown, had become... a goddess."

And I totally agree with you on the "how many Chidori Sasuke could do" thing. *thumbs up* It seems a lot of people forget what it can do to the user.

Tell me about it! I also have an issue about how people naturally assume that Sasuke is going to be ANBU. I mean, most people seem to forget that most of the Uchiha Clan were in the police force, not ANBU, though I suppose this peeve was brought on by everyone who thought it was weird that Sasuke was a policeman in Words of Advice. My thoughts were this: Sasuke wants to rebuild his clan, so why not start with his family's prestige as the Konoha Police Force?

YESYESYESYESYES!!! Zomg, I was thinking the same thing last night and earlier today. He said he wanted to enlist in the police force when he was little, and I think he'd try to do that should he get a happy ending. I do think that it'd be questioned how well a former traitor could discipline people, but I think that his family's ties would be too deep to wave off. If he did become an ANBU I think it'd be just so that he could attain that level, to add it to his credentials, so to speak, but that he wouldn't want to risk his life when he's trying to increase his clan. That's just foolish.

I do the same thing all the time about nearly everything, so don't feel bad. *ats and offers a brownie*

EXACTAMUNDO! I also think that if he's to be ANBU it would be to be for credentials, or like Kakashi, only for the moment. I think that later in life Sasuke would definitely be in the police force, especially if Naruto is Hokage and Sakura is a medic (how can they have their three man team, than?!). Wahhh!!! How come other people don't understand this? T____T Also, if he was a policeman, wouldn't it look better than being ANBU, since being ANBU gives him more freedom and anonimity when people still don't trust him?

Yes, the three of them are/will be/could be so important to the village that continually sending them out on life-risking missions would be foolish. Let them use their skills to protect, which is one of the themes Kishimoto loves, right? Because they have lots of stupid genes and no smart ones? Ooh, I hadn't thought of it that way, before. It'd definitely be easier to keep tabs on him if he was in a position that required him to obey the law. Because as we learned in the VotE flashback, policemen can't arrest ANBU without the Hokage's permission. And if Naruto does become Hokage, of course he'd do all he could to protect his best friend.
