Amazingness of Warped Tour
I shall start this long ass journal with saying The Rev was corrected when he stated the sun follows Warped Tour. It was in the 90’s and I am so burnt it’s not even funny(Don’t know how I don’t have sun poisoning), but it was totally worth it! We stayed at the hotel the night before and drove around Cleveland. We got to the concert by 9:30, 10:00 at the latest. We got in a little early because of the cut passes we had. Mandy and I watched Peirce The Veil first. Then we watched some of I See Stars set, also caught some of Motion City Soundtrack’s. Got to see The Cab again
Saw a little of Dillinger Escape Plan. My little sister got to see me get really pissed off in the Suicide Silence mosh pit because a guy was getting a little to rough with her, after we got out of the mosh pit she was like I thought you were going to kill somebody the band was amazing though! What can I say I am ubber protective. Breathe Carolina was amazing! What I saw of Motionless In White I liked. As I stated earlier I got so sun burnt I had to take breaks so I didn’t pass out. I could feel my skin burning and my lips are even sun burnt, anytime I would drink water they would tingle. Saw NevershoutNever again and they were good, but directly in the sun and it was late so I just didn’t get into it. Then we got to see Alesana and I got a shadey spot and they fucking rocked and they have great sense of humor, I love them so much
I think we heard some of VersaEmerge’s set. We got to see some of The Rocket Summer before going off to see other bands we wanted to see more. Tried to see Mayday Parade but there was no way were going to even be able to get in hearing distance that’s how many people were watching them, so we went back to watching The Downtown Fiction(we were watching them before trying to see Mayday Parade) the downtown fiction was nice because they have such a small following we were right up by the stage I mean close enough we could touch Cameron
(the singer) when he came into the small audience. The I would like to say while I am thinking about it the Polar Bear Club sucks sorry if any of you like them, but I felt that they sucked. We watched sum of Sum 41, but Mandy wanted to get out of their crowd because they were crazy and I didn’t mind because this was at the end of the day and I was to tired to even try and keep her safe and myself standing (didn’t help that I helped catch two people that were crowd surfing, I mean they pretty much fell on top of me because no one was helping) wathced a little of We The Kings but I pretty much just collapsed against the fence and drank water lol. Then Bring Me The Horizon was last and they rocked we were right up front against the fence I put us their so I wouldn’t have to worry about Mandy and I had the fence to rest against if need be. I think I may be def now because we were right beside the speakers. Warped Tour was amazing beyond words even if I almost got cooked alive. I don’t even remember the drive home and I don’t remember falling onto my sister bed and falling asleep hell I don’t even remember going to her room lol. I did not do this in the order we saw them but the ones where I say I ma tired and such is after halfway though the day once I was completely burnt and tired from moshing and walking around. (there was a shit load of other bands but we did not have tiem to see them all so we had to pick and choose)
