Aren't I too young for insurance?

I watered the flower plants in my balcony as well as those in my parents' balcony. It took a big bucket and an orange dish like thing to water the darned pretty thangs. Our balconies' railings are circular, so the pots that hang off it tend to tilt downwards... so when I poured water into them, the water spilled over the edge and the nice, black soil ran down our wall and onto the drying laundry. Lol. I had to wait for the soil to absorb the water before I could start pouring more water into the pot.

Anyways, moving on to my very interesting day at work... Sat at the reception again today. Didn't do much except watch the work and talk to Asma, Dr Saif and Suhair. I think I'm just good at sitting and talking. Suhair told me to call Dr Kishan, which I did. He "tested" me by asking me who the anesthesiologist was. He also said that I should make a report of all that I'm learning and e-mail it to him on the hospital's network e-mail. That's the work they give me? Come on!!

Later, around 1130, I met Dr Kishan at the insurance counter. He introduced me to Dr Rinku and then told me to learn how the insurance thingie works in Zulekha Hospital. This was under the pretense that "he wants to learn how a hospital works before he goes to medical school in the UK". Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending my time in a place like that, but do 16-year-olds really need to be taught about the workings of insurance companies and hospitals when all they want to do is some volunteer work, dammit? The guy, Mr Sajid, who explained it all to me, was clearly repeating his college notes. I nodded along and tried to hang on to what he was saying.. but all I could think about was my lunch.
Dr Rinku tested Mr Sajid in front of me. Preparing a report on MS Excel... Sajid was confused. Dr Rinku was pissed. She asked me if I knew anything about Excel and I nodded excitedly. She asked me to make borders.. I couldn't find the damned borders button :( She didn't yell or anything, she just showed us how to prepare a nice, near report.

After having lunch [alone, again], I e-mailed Dr Kishan, telling him about my day at the hospital. Then Estelita, the receptionist, and I talked. Well, she talked. Left for home around 1600.

At home, I had another long nap, from 1715 to 1930.. fruck! What's wrong with me? It can't possibly still be jet-lag, can it?

watering, excel, nap, plants, insurance
