But that's not even the point I was trying to make. We know Ahmadinejad is a lunatic and incapable of leading Iran to a resolution with the West. What I didn't expect was for Netanyahu to suggest more war while he's hypocritically moaning about the Palestinians not being a partner for peace. It's a bit ironic that the leader of the Light Unto The Nations openly favors war and destruction over dialog.
PS - Syria and Lebanon receive support from Tehran because Iran is using their frustration with Israel to its advantage. Why would they be frustrated with Israel? Oh I don't know, maybe because Israel is not giving the Golan back to Syria because it is too frightened of its land-hungry right wing, or because the IDF enjoys having a bloody war in the south of Lebanon every now and then with no hope for peace in sight.
