just read in the Sunday Herald Sun confirmation of something we all pretty much knew about already...

POCKET-size singer Anthony Callea is quitting the very successful stage musical Wicked. The former Australian Idol runner up, whose six-month contract with the show is soon to end, will leave the production in early January. A spokeswoman for Wicked confirmed that producers had started auditions for someone to take over the role of Boq the munchkin.
i wish it was confirmation that someone was getting promoted, but i guess not... who knows though (fingers crossed!!)
