Good news!
If you haven't heard Amanda was back on Wednesday night!
She was absolutely amazing - you wouldn't know she'd been sick. We gave her a big round of applause when she first appeared. You could tell she was so excited to be back, in TWAI she was nearly jumping out of her skin with excitement and then afterwards, when she was reading/writing her letter her hands were shaking! She then did a really cute dance in curtain call so I'm guessing she was pleased with her performance (and the standing ovation she got!) Was gorgeous at stage door and chatted to me about how the makeup's done (as I'm going green for a party on Saturday)
Erin was on instead of Lucy that night too. At first I was a bit bummed not to Lucy for my last time :-( especially as I hadn't heard too much about Erin (Jem always gets good reviews on here but Erin's not mentioned much) but Erin was fantastic! Her interpretation was really different but I thought she was really good...especially loved her 'unusually and exceedingly peculiar...' think it was the best of the 3 I've heard. She was really sweet too. I'm amazed at how lovely all the cast are (& Kellie!)
May get around to posting a longer review later, but all in all was a spectacular performance, especially the long-awaited return of Amanda!
