[Infirmary Wardens Filter]

I'd like for Sirius to be able to assist in the infirmary under the care of Martha Snape-Jones if she would agree to such an arrangement. Her knowledge of his world and empathetic ear is something I believe Sirius would benefit from -- as long as that's not asking too much of you, Martha, and as long as he agrees to.

Z-Day. I'm guessing either the world ended enough times that they started running through the alphabet after 'D', a holiday with a name that people love to use for scrabble, or Zombie Apocalypse.

Come on, tell me there's a fun new word I can use in scrabble.

Zombies, man. Always with the zombies. Scrabble could really use a dictionary update. Did you know "d'oh" is a real word? What the hell?

There's no way that counts. There isn't an apostrophe piece!

I'm Steph, by the way.

I've never tried to justify the use of an apostrophe for a blank tile. Sounds a little tricky, but with enough cleavage, any argument is passable.

Steph, I'm Wichita. I've seen you around here and there. Where are you from?

I think we should just outlaw any word that requires an apostrophe. It's just not cool.

Gotham, New Jersey. You?

Cool. What's it like? Exciting? I always wondered what it'd be like being a civilian in Gotham. It seems like they go through a lot of bodies...

It's kind of a hell hole, but home is home. And there's Batman. It's almost worth it just to know he's there.

I always thought Batman promoted the excess of super uber villains. If they didn't have the draw of the challenge, would they even be there? Y'know? Does that even make sense?

Home is home. Heh.

That's total bull. My dad never needed Batman around to rob banks, or beat his wife. Batman's a hero, and Gotham is lucky to have him.

Was your dad apprehended by Batman? Sorry, I didn't mean any offense, I swear. It's kind of like when you say, "Jedi versus Superman -- who wins?", except that I know that both exist for real in alternate dimensions, so it's kind of weird to speculate on them now. That was just something I'd fought with some nerd about when I thought my world was the only world.

It's just, that's the argument people use all the time to try to get rid of him. And you know what happens when he's gone? The city falls into chaos. I've been there. He doesn't ask for any thanks, but a little appreciation wouldn't go awry.

Rest assured that those people and their arguments are on par with pimply geeks that hang out behind convenience stores.

Oh man, you should tell that to the lawyers and politicians. They'll love it.
