More shameless self-promotion
I think it was welshwitch_star's journal where we were having a discussion about fiction and the question of original fiction came up. I wrote a fair bit of original fiction when I was a University student. For a couple of years, I edited the Science Fiction & Fantasy Society's little magazine. I loved doing it, it would be wonderful to do something like that again. Thinking about it, that'd probably be my dream job. So I thought I'd dig out a couple of my old stories and resurrect them. In other rather mundane news... it's pi**ing it down here. We've had such a weird couple of months, weather-wise. Last I checked, the UK wasn't actually in a tropical zone so we weren't due alternating blazing sun and torrential rain. Our apple tree came down earlier today in the storm. Poor thing.
I managed my Step class tonight. My legs are almost back to normal after playing Truss Monkey at the weekend. Rather pathetic how long it took me to get over some strenuous work. Once the immersion heater has done its thing, I'm for a hot bath.
