ASYLUM First report
I'm back! Well at least for a day before I head off to France anyway....
Wanna know what the Asylum was like?
Very very tiring but worth it!
Okay this is probably just the first report, as I'm sure I'll have much more to post on the subject, but right now I'm too tired to think about it all. And I still have photos and audio files to upload, but I'll do that all next week when I really get back.
Friday
First of all I have to say how glad I was that we already flew in on Thursday and had a first relaxing day in Birmingham (ugly city, sorry but it's true) before all the stress started up.
The registration on friday was chaotic, to say the least! But I'm sure you all know that by now. We must have queued for 5 hours in the first queue, only then to realize that our package didn't contain either photo tickets or autograph passes or anything really. So we had to get in a problems queue for another 3 hours, but we were still the lucky ones, who were always in the front!
Finally we did get everything sorted out and then we headed off to our next queue for th Winchester Squeeze Photo!!! God I was soooo nervous before that, I actually was shaking, simply because till then I'd never even seen the boys and was now about to see them, talk to them and maybe even touch them! And I did all of that list! Sadly we weren't allowed to hug them, but still it was great. The first time seeing them was so surreal! There are no other words for it. The both looked skinnier, Jensen looked so much younger, and again both looked so much better in real life! And when they both smiled I felt like fainting.
After that we went to get all our autographs with the other guests, and guess what? YAY another long queue! (We were used to them by now anyway)
On the friday session all the guests were still in a good mood and we got to talk to each of them for a couple of minutes and they were all so wonderful, of course including Misha! In RL that man is a Adonis! I swear!
That evening we only missed our Wine Reception and our Dinner, but who cares, right?
One thing I learnt during this convention: You can survive on very little water and a biscuit here and there and still stand upright for many many hours before seeing black spots.
One other thing I have to mention are the wonderful people I met on the first already:
shawn_leanna yukisherry angels_cordy eledh_3 goddamnarmsrace and of course my darling matty_parkman! And loads of other people I probably now forgot to mention....
Saturday
J² panel!!! After getting up at 4:30 am and waiting for hours on end and then when the doors opened somebody pushed aside the staff members and we just ran for our lives! Yeah that was what it was like.
The J² panel was so much fun and simply awesome. I can't recall everything that was said, but luckly I have audiofiles to all of them I just have to listen to again.
But the way they both looked at each other! If that ain't love....
Someone saw them leave the panel, kinda arm in arm and someone else said that they then went into a toilet together for 20 min apparently to relax! Okay....
Next we went to get our Jensen photos taken and this is when I really really got lucky.
The Photo is crap, just in case you want to know, but it was still worth it. Why? First of all this time I said something before he did, just so I could say a few words and secondly because they had to change the battery of the camera just then when I was standing at his side. This meant we had a couple of minutes to actually talk! And dear God I couldn't even think past his amazing lips and sparkle in his eyes (true!). And we talked! WE REALLY TALKED!!! And then I laid a hand on his lower back while taking the photo. *thud*
When I came out, I was literally bouncing up and down and squeeing so hard and everyone around me smiled because they knew why I was acting like that :-)
We later missed some panels, but got our Jared autograph which was worth it. Again I got to talk to Jared and I told him where I was from and what we were planning on doing once the con was over. I told him about Warwick Castle and he seemed really interested and was just adorably cute as always :-)
He seemed to be in a good mood and later on I heard from some friends that lots of funny things happened during that autograph session, including a pencil throwing contest and something about some chewing gum? Hmm...sounded funny anyway.
After that we made it to the important panel: MISHA. That guy simply rules! I love him before, but there are no words for how much I love him now! He's just so funny. He could easily do stand up comedy. And then a fan asked about Dean's and Castiel's platonic relationship and the crowd screamed. And Misha had to start talking about slash fanfics! *squee*
He said something like: "I know you all think it's your dirty little secret..." He was so great about it all.
And then he said he read a fanfic but when he came to the part "and Castiel's hard shaft" he said he wasn't sure he liked the way his character was developing. LOL!!!
After that we went to the Jensen autograph, so we could get everything done in that one day.
Here the queue was longer again, but time went by as me and my sister met the wonderful princess_s who just happens to be a Merlin fan and who told us all about the Soccer Six which see saw live! We were talking about Bradley and how sexy he is and that's all I could think about by the time I finally got to Jensen (I really felt bad). But then I got to talk to him again and look into those beautiful eyes and I could only think: awwwww JENSEN!!! And I asked him what he had for lunch, and he said he'd had chicken, but it wasn't that good and kinda rushed.
Later on we heard that he actually collapsed during that session because of exhaustion and lack of water! Poor baby!
Last but not least was the Jared Panel which was also a lot of fun, although I can't really recall much about it now. He was funny and awesome and looked amazing. Enough info? Like I said more to follow soon...
Sunday (almost there)
After another night with only a few hours of sleep we were in queue again to get into the room where the stagetalks took place. Luckily we had everything already, so we got to relax and listen to all stagetalks that day, which was really a lot of fun.
And we had good seats but my camera still gave out on me. I now have true respect for people taking good pictures, as it is damn near impossible with a normal camera. (It's much to dark and the guys are constantly moving about)
I loved all the stagetalks, especially Gabriel and Malik. Malik is so funny, and his breakdance preformance was epic!
Matt was also so much better looking in RL than on the show, although he seemed kinda nervous.
Sam was so lovely. Amy way sweet, like sugar coated. And she always wore something pink.
Richard was a bit lame I thought and Fredric was were amusing. And he plays guitar :-)
The Jensen stagetalk was one of my favorites as you might have guessed. He was so GUH....and he talked about his little fluffy dog and showed the picture on his iphone! SO CUTE!!! I can just imagine him with a lapdog like that. And then he put on his sunglasses and did a little dance a the end.....DEAR GOD!!! I just thought: Shall I stare at his crotch since I'm so near it for once? Oh what the heck, he'll not even notice, so I did :-)

The Jared talk was hilarious! Jason was included again, but I didn't really care much actually (sorry). The best bit: A girl asked Jensen before about doing a cowboy movie, meaning a western. And then she wanted to ask Jared the same question but said something like: Jensen said he'd like to do the cowboy...and it everyone just laughed. And you should have seen Jared's expression! OMG!!! He was like: WTF did Jensen say? turning to Jason. And then he answered: Yeah I kinda get that a lot from Jensen, or something like that.
Jared we love you! ♥
Right the last panel was Misha and then again Misha doing the raffle. I know I just laughed till I had tears in my eyes, seriously!
Oh one thing: Misha is in a truth a fangirl who just smuggled his way on set. We always knew :-)
And that this post is already much to long.
