First a cut for some RL stuff. Life isn't very kinda to me right now...
Okay so I know i haven't actually talked much about my RL in my LJ yet, but now I kinda feel like I really want to, just to vent.
My Dad have been suffering with high bloodpressure for almost a week now, without any idea where it is coming from. He went to see the doctor at the beginning of the week and had several checks done. They gave him some medication, which seemed to help. But then yesterday I get a call from the doctor telling me to come home (I live and study in a different city) because he's collapsed. He bloodpressure was higher than ever. And he having some sort of allergic reaction to the medication.
So far his condition hasn't improved yet, and I just don't know what to do! I'm all alone with my Grandma now and try to distract myself in every possible way, but it's just not working. The days seem so unbearably long, and nothing else really seems to matter a lot right now.
Anyway, I'm still hoping for a full recovery....
nanashisasa and
momotastic : I may have to call you guys today for some more emotional support. Thanks so far for all your kind words! You are unbelievable! *hugs you both tight*
The one thing I did to distract myself this morning was to watch the new SPN episode. It helped a bit....well for about 42 minutes anyway...
Second cut for first impressions of 4x03 'In the Beginning'
Okay not a review, I'm just not up for that right now. But at least some first impressions.
First of all I have to say that I loved the episode! Even though we only saw Sam for a couple of seconds, and the way we did...well let's no start that.
I loved the whole idea of going back in time, even more so because Castiel had the power to do it. Can't really imagine timetravel in SPN otherwise.
I honestly didn't recognize the young John at the begining, which just had this amazing WOW effect. The young Mary I thought was better cast. She really looked like her, especially the eyes! And she's a hunter! Didn't figure that either.
I really liked Mitch Pileggi in the role of Samuel Campbell (oh and of course the Names of the grandparents *g*). He was so amazing and when he got possessed he really acted like the YED/Fredric Lehne!
Another scene I really liked was the one where Dean convinced John to buy the Impala...always knew she was Dean's baby.
And am I getting this right? Everyone in the Winchester Family has made a deal with a demon except for Sam? That's really interesting...so Mary was actually the one to start it all. I have no words.
All in all I just loved the story line, had me shocked from one scene to the next. Will rewatch it sometime later today and then give you guys a full review.
BTW I hate cliffhangers!!!
