Mirror Book
In the spirit of my wicca studies i have too many notebooks, with the thought of starting a "mirror book" or kinda dream/tarot journey i have decided to use this online journal.
Not as private as many suggest but something that might be fun to share, my stumble through the journey of wicca/ witchcraft.
A dream diary may start one day, but this is mostly to exercise my hope of learning the tarot. I will pick a card and gather information from various resources to discover its possible meaning.
Im am currently using the "Universal Waite" tarot deck
So, tarot reading- Day 1- Aug 24th 2010
I shuffle, and split the deck to the left and take the card. A different split and reading everyday.
9 of Pentacles- Woman stood next to bush full of grapes, in right hand she holds a falcon, and her left hand rests on top of one of the 9 pentacles. She looks happy.
Pentacles- practicality, security and material concerns. Linked to prosperity and wealth.
- She has retreated from world to a private innner place of pleasure.
- May signify a lucky windfall or payment for a job well done.
- The enjoyment of hard earned success.
- Things you wanted you may now be able to have.
- Relying on yourself with the want to be alone. A self reliance but trusting your own ability.
- Have discipline and self control to become a master of your own instincts.
- You may have to sacrifice but it will be worth it.
An interesting one, definitely one that could show possible happiness and prosperity in near future which desperately need due to the death of my laptop and the loss of everything on it. A nightmare. Also useful due to moving house soon so need the money for that situation, also my car MOT is due, so fingers crossed that wont cost to much. All in all in really need some luck in prosperity and money matters right now, hehe!
Anyhoo, more again 2morrow hopefully. I may not update everyday due to the lack of a laptop but will defo draw a card and note what i got to update here at a later date.
Its also a full moon 2night, being in my newbie status i looked out the window last night saw the moon (so very close to full) and assumed it was a full moon so did a little blessing. But i was wrong, tonight is the full moon, hehe! so attempt two... lets just look at it as practise, and the need for a moon phase thingy.
Um, thats about it for today. using my grandads comp, which i have just filled with an endless supply of pagan podcasts, so gonna go work my way through those so i can delete them, oops!
