Dragon Wytch by Yasmine Galenorn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Another highly enjoyable installment of the Otherworld - Sisters of the Moon series. As with it's 3 predecessors it is the continuing tale of the half fae/half human D'Artigo sisters and their ongoing struggle to save both the Earth realm and Otherworld from the Evil demon-kin Shadow Wing.

Each title in this series is told from a different sister's POV, in rotation. This book is told from the point of view of the eldest of the Sisters, Camille, who is the witch of the family. Having now read one book from each of the sisters perspective, this being the second of the Camille POV books, I think it is safe to say that Camille is the character that the author has the closest connection with. Her voice is, thus far, the strongest through the series and it really shows in this book.

This one did have, for me, some noticeable issues; such as several instances of the books main character, Camille, performing repeat actions (such as standing up twice in one scene, without having sat down twice) within paragraphs of each other and a few random areas where certain bits felt a little bit like padding, or fluff, that would briefly jar me from the narrative.

These few minor issues did not hinder my overall enjoyment of this installment of the story, though and the pacing was pretty solid throughout.

I highly recommend this series to any fan of paranormal fiction. The series offers action, mystery, suspense, humor, romance and plenty of extremely sexy and intriguing characters.
