Stargate Multiverse Track at Dragon*Con
This post will mostly only be of interest to those people on my Flist who both attend Dragon*Con and are fans of Stargate.
As I am sure that most of you know by now, Marcia, the Track Director for the Stargate Offworld Fandom, was asked not to return as track director this year. There were a multitude of reason for this which I WILL NOT go in to but to they were all valid and justified reason for her removal.
With this change in director there are also other changes, like new staff (Wiccy will be Official Con Track Staff this year!!) and a New Track name. Thus Stargate Multiverse Track at Dragon*Con was born!
We the staff (new and old) have been hard at work the last three days to get everything in place for the Transition. Starting with our web presence. Today I sent the day putting together out groups on the Social Networking sites (part of my new duties). This means that the Stargate Track has a NEW LJ COMMUNITY! This will be used a bit like a news letter (with discussion of each new post allowed). So please join it and then help us spread the words that it is up and ready for use!

We also have a new Website, forums, Facebook and MySpace Group. So please check those out as well and join if you are on those Networking Sites. The Forums are where the majority of planning, discussion and chat will take place, while the sosical networking site groups will be used more like news groups.
