I hate Mondays
A little follow-up on my post from this morning.
The girl from the leasing office finally returned my call. She applogized for the fact that the notice even made it to the door and asurd me that it processing of the Eviction for the previous tentant HAD in fact been "canceled" at least a week ago (which COULD be true as the paperwork filing date was 1-1-07) and that there was nothing to worry about.
I informed her, nicely, that since I've worked in the legal field for 10 years or so that I was very much about CYOA (cover your own ass) and that I wanted/needed something to that effect in writting on the Company letterhead which she promised she would deliver herself tommorrow. So, for now, everything on that end seems fine.
Work is still crazy and I still hate Mondays but, it's not as bad as it was this morning.
ps. I have REALLY grown to love my newish Jack!Icon. It's just prefect for so many things lately.
