Writer's Block: Set Sail
Wow what a question. In previous years I was an avid Spike/Buffy fan having read alot of fics but never writing for the fandom. I fell out of tha and proceeded to get into more anime based pairings, thugh none stick out in my mind. Then there is my current obsession Harry Potter Slash pairings. Wow. Not only have I read hundreds of fics I have also writen 10's of thousands of words in unfinished stories. I love Darker pairings. Like Harry with Lucius, Severus, Voldemort, Tom or Harry with any combination of the 4 in a moresome...drool...So my tastes run dark but my writings really don't. I can read fics where Harry is not in the best of relationships with these dark men but I can't seem to make the Harry I write hurt that much. Sigh. I do like the Idea of Harry being rescued byt the Malfoy Patriarch though. Just to end up madly in love with him. hehe. Or where he is captured by Voldemort and the Dark Lord gets all soft and squishy, though only for Harry, and Harry falls for him :). All in all I think anyone can see I am totally obsessed with HP fanfiction at the moment. Though it isn't all bad I acctually learn alot about relationships, spelling, vocabulary and just how warped a writers mind can get...I only hop I am able to write as eloquently as some of my favorite authors some day.
