I am 24.

And I am one step closer to being labelled a woman in her mid-20s. 24. The age of becoming I was told. Becoming wiser. Becoming more stable. Becoming busier. and hopefully becoming richer. and happier.

Thanks to all the lover-lies who remembered and sms-ed and to those who kept me in your thoughts and took the time and effort to surprise me =). You guys made me feel so special and made me feel like flying! One student in particular touched emo-nemo me: a rather goodlooking malay boy (luqmahn), drew me a card with a lovely poem and asked his friend to pass it to me coz he was shy. hehehe

Above all the cakes, the cards, the presents, i think what I really appreciate most was the warmth and love I felt from those standing silly-ly in the esplanade trying to act conspicuous and going river hongbao with me, those who disappeared during gambling to surprise me the loveliest multi-layered chocolate cake, those who mobbed me outside the toilet to sing me the never-ending birthday song, those who stood in the canteen awaiting my arrival then breaking up into the ever popular birthday song.

Thank you for taking time from your busy schedules and getting me away from mine. I am so blessed. =)
