Casting a circle

Nov 11, 2010 10:43

Hi!  I have a question.

I've never done a circle before, though I've never actually needed to.  I was wondering, though, about my cats.  They're extremely nibby and like to come over and sniff at my stuff when I'm working.  If I were to cast a circle, would they be able to break it by walking in and out of it?

Thanks!

I've been in many a circle across the years where cats wandering in and out of circle were no problem at all. Ours has an open invitation to come and go as he pleases. Also bear in mind that animals don't carry the energetic complications that people do.

I sort of thought that the energies would be different enough to not affect the circle, but I wanted to make sure. Thank you! =D

I have one cat who wanders in and out as she pleases, and another who sits just outside and supervises. Neither one has ever presented a problem. Wandering Cat has a habit of sniffing candles a little too closely, so I tend to keep her away from those, but she's never harmed a circle.

I have always noticed that cats do not break circles and that the energy created in one attracts them to pitch in a bit.
