first a little background

I come from a long line of witch cooks.
My mother is a cook, but that is the extent of her powers...
My grandmother was a cook.  And a spiritual healer.  A chef actually, who travelled the world teaching other chefs how to cook.
My great grandmother was a healing cook.
And so on and so forth, all the way back to scandinavia, the laplands and early saxxon england.

Since moving back in with my mother, I've pretty much taken over the kitchen responsibilites.  No one in this house can cook like I do...not to brag or anything.
I've been cooking up a storm these last few days...maybe an attempt to rid my mind of homicidal tendencies?  I don't know.  I like to eat good food, and apparently the only way to do that is to cook it my self.
I would now like to detail some of my culinary escapades this last week, to remind my self that I really am a caring person and a good cook.  Despite what my mother thinks.

For V's birthday I made gourmet cupcakes.  They were scrumptuous!!
I started with a white cake batter, then added some crushed double stuff oreo cookies to it.  For frosting I did a vanilla italian buttercream, and then topped them with some more broken oreo pieces.  They looked so pretty on the tray.  The kids at her party were blown away....

Homemade jalepeno poppers the other night...I took fresh whole jalepenos and cut the tops off.  Then I scraped out all the guts (seams and seeds) and filled them with a softened cream cheese and garlic mixture.  I double breaded them in egg and sourdough bread crumbs (egg then breading, and repeat) and deep fried them in olive oil.  Talk about delish!  We had ranch dressing for dipping, but they didn't need it.

Then I made stawberry cupcakes.  I added strawberry juice to the cake instead of water, so they were kinda pink looking and tasted yummy, then I set a half of a berry on top of each one before baking, so as it cooked, the berry sunk about halfway into the cake.  For frosting I did a classic buttercream with strawberry flavoring and red food dye to make it pink.  They were so cute looking, all pastel.

Dinner a few nights back was breakfast...my favorite dinner ever.  I made blueberry struesal french toast with almond flavoring and nutmeg.  Then I whipped up some fresh heavy cream with more almond flavor, and made fresh blueberry syrup.  V was all "I didn't know you knew how to make syrup!!!"  It was sooo decadent and rich.  There was also lots of crispy bacon, without which no breakfast is complete.

Every time I cook something, my mother is reluctant to eat it...like it's going to suck or something.  Then when she finally does dish some up...she doctors the hell out of it before even tasting it.  I use lots of spices, and some strange methods so she really should taste it before adding stuff to it.  It's just fucking rude to not even taste something before adding a shit ton of stuff to it

I can't even continue on that train of thought because i just got in a fight with her....so fucking inconsiderate in every aspect.  I HATE her.  I hope she dies.
