Disney here I come!!!
At four this morning we are leaving Chi for Anaheim, Ca....Destination, Disneyland.
I arrived at my moms last night via train to Klamath Falls. It was hard for me to leave Eugene, because we just got Panda spayed yesterday. We dropped her off at 8 am, and were supposed to pick her up at 2 pm, but at 11:30 I got a call from the clinic telling me to come get her now....because she woke up and freaked out (which we warned them of) and they had to tranq her twice in the 20 minutes it took for Bear to get home and then get over there with me. She could barely stand up she was sooo drugged, and then she just layed there with her eyes half open, wimpering and crying out in pain. She was also shivering violently so I covered her up and layed down next to her, trying to comfort her a little. It was the worst I've ever felt I think. Then I had to leave. I feel like a horrible person.
The trip:
There will be 14 highschool band members (including my little sister), their teacher and his wife, and my mother and myself. It's going to be a 14 hour drive, in two activity vans. The only thing that is going to get to me is not being able to smoke anything until we get there.
Apparently they get a day and a half to roam around the park, included is a park hopper pass to california adventure for everyone. They also get the ride fast passes, and my mom has a golden access pass. We are going to ride rides until we can't move our necks, or we puke...whichever comes first.
I'm really excited to go, but at the same time i feel bad that Bear couldn't come with me. I hate being away from him...especially for so long. And he's stuck at home with a recovering dog and two crazy ass roommates. I feel like a dick. He should have got to experience this with me.
anyways...I'm gonna go downstairs and make cookies to take on the trip, and maybe get a few hours to nap before we have to leave.
