A/N: Response to this weeks Improve Challenge. This sprung into my head fully formed, and begged me to write it.
( Carefully he placed the pieces of paper into the bottom drawer of his desk. They were symbolic, perhaps, of his relationship with Sara. Two halves, obviously meant to fit together, but for some reason separate. )
