Last night I noticed how many things around the house need repairing, so I made a plan of action.
I got up early this morning and started by collecting up all the bent things I could find, then when I had a neat pile, I settled down to bending them all straight.

I can't believe I spelled your name wrong! No no, I'm not calling you a fibber or anything, I believe you 'cos if anybody is an expert on how to spell Hannah it's you. I can only blame it on senility.
By the way, the card has a very comprehensive one year full guarantee, so if you want to send it back to me I will repair it, test it for "fitness of purpose" and send it back by return of post. Can't say better than that can I.
b.t.w., how did I spell it? If I left an "h" off I could send you an extra "h" from my box of spare letters and you could stick it in place yourself - save a postage stamp.
I am glad you liked it. It is an impressive creature isn't it. I have photos of it actually hatching that I will post some day. (have I told you that already? Damn this old age fog.) You also have a picture of my left hand now too, so that's proof that at least part of me is genuinely human and not an imaginary figment.
Anyway, I'm glad to see from your latest post that you had a good time on your birthday. You seem to have a fun bunch of friends and some good looking cupcakes. And you look gorgeous yourself too.
Twenty One is a very good age to be. Old enough to stand proud but young enough to party until you fall down.
(p.s. The Hawk Moths are very strong fliers; It doesn't "flap its wings", it buzzes like a hummingbird on steroids!)
