I'm super excited, because I have my ticket to Melbourne! I have decided to go to Melbourne earlier, at the same time that Gina is going. I was originally planning to stay here for another couple of months to save up some more cash, but I really don't want to any more. Basically, i'm already getting pretty sick of my job, and also I don't want to be apart from Gina for another long stretch ( this year I have already been away from her for a total of 14 weeks touring Fleet with Loopen ). Oh, we'll be flying out early in the morning on the 21st of January by the way.
In regards to my job, the pay is great and all, but i'm fast coming to realise that call centre work really isn't for me. There is a lot of pressure in the job. You're expected to remember a huge amount of information at a moment's notice, and there really is a lot riding on your decisions. Also, every single part of your day is scrutinised. Every conversation you have on the phone is recorded, and every moment you're away from your phone or unavailable to take calls is noted down and analysed. I just can't be bothered, to be honest.
I should really get to sleep now. Have to wake up ridiculously early for work, yet again.
