"Some good information would be how to handle situations that might be likely to lead to rape" - posted that before, thankyou.

"places to get help and support" - posted to individuals before, based on individual situations.

Also, here's a thought.

"I have never, ever been the victim of violent crime or seen violent crime." - does that mean it doesn't happen? No. I could go into a long list of other events that occur, despite you not seeing them, but I cannot be arsed. You're clever - you get the point, I'm sure. (Also, coincidentally, I don't think Horsham features very high up that list, but I've certainly witnessed violent crime. And there have been a few rape cases in my village. Thus, yes, it is in my best interests to inform those I care about (the majority of which live locally) that such events do occur, and thus to keep them safe. I've voiced this concern before, and if one of my posts keeps a friend that tiny bit more alert, then I've done my duty as a friend.

The constant poking from people I seem to be getting for things I post on LJ is becoming tiresome, however, and is irritating currently-irritable me far more than it should. Thus I am signing off.

I just quoted a response from that community which I agreed with. The words in italics aren't mine.
