Shawnie Lew posted about a live recording of Fiest on a
little music-blog named rbally.net Just a heads up that there is a current post featuring the Nov 05 KCRW Radio session of Broken Social Scene.
Some of you guys may already have it (crazy broken telephone connections) but for those who haven't, it's a wonderful recording (much better sound quality and more intimate than the 'Mornings Become Eclectic - KCRW Session' I found a while ago) even with a spiffy interview and a few extra bits (e.g. Intuition, a song by Fiest from her 2003 EP, The Red Demos... in fact, I'll upload it).
The count-in part of Ibi and all their little conversations just puts a smile on my face, it actually reminds me very much of us (you know, us! haha) I know that many of my fond memories of the past few years are soundtracked to bss. This makes me so excited for
The Islands show.
Without further ado:
The Red Demos by Feist And since I've already uploaded it:
White Sessions - Live in France by Devendra Banhart On a more personal note:
Craddling a five dollar bowling pin, gazing at the stars above and singing your soul out to the heavens because hope is all that's left.
Suddenly, the next day, things couldn't be more fantastic. Sunny side up, my friends, life is good.
