Can't remember when I last posted. Doh!
College eats up my time. I've been back a month and I'm trundling along with the work, actually - gasp - going to classes and doing my reading and assignments. Yes, to not feel a thousand tons of pressure and mind-numbing panic about college that's all you have to do. Whoda thunk it.
I'm keeping up with my stories, the ones still on at least - Torchwood and The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Both keep going from strength to strength. And yay for Pushing Daisies coming back in the autumn. I'm glad the writer's strike is over now.
1x05 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles was just awesome. I had no idea Brian Austin Green was guest starring. I kept looking at him going 'who is that'? Then I remembered I had a huge crush on him in Beverly Hills 90210. Yes, I just admitted that. I can't believe how good this show is getting. I was SO meh about it after episode 1, but it's really building and building upon the T1 and T2 mythology in a really brilliant way. I mean, Brian Austin Green playing Kyle Reese's brother? Awesome. I really hope he doesn't die. Speaking of - John bringing Sarah's paramedic fiancee was great. Can't wait to see what happens!!!
Torchwood's To The Last Man had some nice cracky time warping, that's always fun, I really liked the WW1 soldier whose name I just cannot remember. What the hell is that actor from? Some soap... I just know that I know his face. He was great though, he and Tosh were sweet.
Meat kind of irritated me though. Jack kills practically every single alien TW faces in series 1... and now he's weeping over a giant sea monster? Not that I didn't feel sorry for the alien, I felt awful 'cause I'm a bleeding heart, but Jack being emo about simply made me laugh hysterically. I can't count how many times I said 'Oh please'... included in that are the Jack/Gwen moments. Give. Me. A. Break. I'm getting a Ten/Rose vibe off of them and it is turning me right off. It's par for the course for Gwen, who is just the Welsh Rose in my opinion, but this isn't really Jack behaviour. It feels OOC.
YAY for Martha coming soon! Tomorrow's episode looks brilliant, is that the one she's arriving in? Am confused. Can't wait
Short post given the fact that I've been AWOL, but I'm tired. What with college, studying, jogging after I arrive home and general life, I am freaking tired. Sleepy now.
